A review of Napoleon at Bay 1814 by F. Loraine Petre. This book primarily covers the 1814 campaign and Napoleon’s defence of France. It does have some political discussion but the book is first and foremost about the military action.

A review of  “A Military History and Atlas of the Napoleonic Wars”  by Vincent J. Esposito and John R. Elting. This book covers all of Napoleon’s campaigns and provides a great many maps to illustrate them. The book is entirely focused on the military aspects of the Napoleonic Wars.
